Three questions, answered.

The cedar had turned grey and started to splinter, and the old stain was peeling in patches.

We cleaned and brightened the wood, sanded the rough boards and applied a penetrating semi-transparent stain that soaks in instead of peeling.

Rain beads off it and the cedar colour is back. We recommend a maintenance coat every two to three years.
