The walls had yellowed and an old leak had stained the ceiling. The family needed the room back quickly and wanted low-odour paint.

We sealed the stain with a stain-blocking primer, patched the cracks and painted the ceiling flat white. The walls got two coats of low-VOC eggshell.

The stain hasn’t come back, and the room is much brighter on grey Portland days.
